Welcome to my Sesshoumaru and Rin shrine

Everyone knows who and what Sesshoumaru is, so I wont explain him. I would like to point out the technically correct spelling for Sesshoumaru is S-e-s-s-h-o-u-m-a-r-u. The American spelling has dropped the "u". In Japanese, leaving a character out of a word can change the meaning of the word.

One other thing I'd like to point out, is age. No one but Rumiko Takahashi knows Sesshoumaru's age, and as far as I know, she's never mentioned it. So if you see a site that says Sesshoumaru is 300 or 900 or whatever, that's just that person's guess. It's not a fact unless they can actually say, and prove, that Rumiko Takahashi said it. And height. Please keep in mind that the Japanese people of the 1500's were not a tall people. The average height would have been about 5'6" for men. Again, unless stated by Takahashi-san, Sesshoumaru's height is anyone's guess. My guess would be not more than 6'.

Now, I am a BIG fan of Sesshoumaru/Rin pairing. OLDER Rin of course.. So this site promotes the pairing.  There's  just something about the two of them that they go together.

The Sesshoumaru Older Rin pairing: There are several reasons for liking this pairing.

1) Rin is the key that unlocked Sesshoumaru's heart.

2) Parent Sesshoumaru is not. And just because he revived her, doesn't make him a parent.

3) Sesshoumaru's personality is slowly changing due to Rin's influence.

4) Personality wise, they're almost opposites. But when need be, Rin can be resourceful and independent. Sesshoumaru would want a mate capable of taking care of herself when needed.

5) They go together just as InuYasha and Kagome go together.

6) Sesshoumaru's heart already belongs to a female, although at the moment, neither are aware of it. One's too young, the other too stubborn.

Even though Sesshoumaru started out as an evil bad guy, he can no longer be considered such. In the most recent chapters of the manga, though he and InuYasha fight, it seems it wasn't because he wanted to kill InuYasha, but more of  a "are you worthy?" fight. Sesshoumaru just doesn't seem interested in killing InuYasha anymore. He had a lot of anger and hate issues, especially in the beginning, but because of Rin, he is getting over those issues. He has also gone through a lot of emotional situations recently, and these are also changing him. However, his basic personality will never change. He'll always be "distant" or "aloof", never openly friendly. Arrogant, yes. Vain, no. Stubborn, definitely!  Not very talkative, or show emotions much. However, actions speak just as loudly as words. I think Rin accepts him as he is because she sees past the "I don't care about anyone" attitude and sees the kindness in his heart. To quote Rin saying in one chapter of the manga about Sesshoumaru's heart: "strong and kind".

We know Sesshoumaru has feelings for Rin, whether it's love or not at this point is anyone's guess. But one thing we can be sure of, he doesn't understand the feelings. He'll need to do some soul searching to understand them, and most likely several years before he accepts them.

Now remember, these are my opinions! If they differ form yours, great! If they're the same, great! So no flaming anyone because your opinions differ!!
