Hi, and welcome to my page. My name is Tami and this page has some info about me and my best friend who helped me create this website. As well as other info, links and personal opinions about the InuYasha characters.
My friend and I originally created this website to share my art work, but it soon became an InuYasha website. There is some art not related to InuYasha, but most of it is. Cynthia showed me how to do everything, and I've done the rest.
Cynthia and I have been best friends since 1991. We met at a Star Trek movie. We share a love of Star Trek, animals, reading, cross stitching, anime in general and InuYasha in particular. We are located in Washington state, on a large island in the middle of Puget Sound.
Cynthia has two kids, a 16 year old son and an 8 year old daughter. They consider me a second "Mom". Cynthia likes to write, and she's very good at it. But she needs encouragement! Please e-mail her and tell her to write! As for me, I have no children of my own unless you want to count my 20+ cats, 2 Ball Pythons gerbils and fish as children. I do work at a day care with 24 preschoolers. Cynthia thinks I am a "lucky dog", as I have only myself and pets to worry about. I am a Sesshoumaru-devotee, can you tell?
Random thoughts and opinions.
Just so people understand, an opinion is someone's perception of something. If you don't agree with an opinion, fine, but don't flame a person because their opinion is different from yours.
Some things that bug me about spelling. Now, in Japanese, if you change or drop one letter/character, you change the meaning of the word.. Kouga is spelled K-O-U-G-A. The K-O-G-A is a mis-translated spelling of the word. Same with Shippou, Myouga and Kikyou. The same with Tetsusaiga. It's not T-E-S-S-A-I-G-A! That's how it's pronounced!!! It's correct spelling is T-E-T-S-U-S-A-I-G-A!!! TSU in Japanese is pronounced like cats, the T is hard to hear.
Couples we like: Miroku and Sango; Kagome and InuYasha; Sesshoumaru and older Rin.
Another hot topic: Kikyou. She isn't my favorite character but I do like her. She is trying to destroy Naraku. Kagome is her re-incarnate. Kagome has her soul, except the hatred part. Watch episodes 14 , "Kikyou's Stolen Ashes", and 15,"The Return of the Tragic Priestess, Kikyou", again. The brought-back-to-life Kikyou started out with only hatred because Kagome got most of the soul back. As Kikyou collects souls, her personality changes. How the souls she collects affects her is questionable. As for Kagome's and Kikyou's feelings for each other, how would you feel if you met yourself?
Most people think the fur thing is a tail. I have my own ideas as to what it is. I've heard that Ms Takahashi said it's his tail, I also heard she said she made it because it looked "neat". My opinion is it's the mane or ruff from his dog form. In the dog form, he has a ruff or mane that goes from his right shoulder to his left side, under his belly, up between his front legs and back at the shoulder. It's also a beige color, the same as the fur Sessh wears. Inu Papa has two of the same, each going over a shoulder, at least in movie 3. In the episodes with the cat demons, Inu Papa appears to have the same mane as Sessh. Oh and the mane does bleed. Check out my screencaps from episodes 120-124. It also bled in movie 3.
